​OUR PURPOSE
We want to raise awareness to everyone in the UK of the dedication of these unpaid Carers and the hardships they endure every day. Caring for a loved one who needs and relies on you is not a 9-5 job it’s a life time of commitment to another.
Carers do not want or need our sympathy they need our empathy, spend just a few hours in their shoes and you will see just what it takes to dedicate your time to another.
We hope our ride will yes raise funding to help support the work of the Carers Trust & SET while also raising the profile for Young Carers across the UK, they are the unsung heroes of your community and here’s how you can help…
YOUNG CARERS
Young carers are children and young people who look after someone in their family who has an illness, a disability, or is affected by mental ill-health or substance misuse.
YCNet, at www.youngcarers.net, is the only dedicated website and online support service for children and young people under the age of 18, who help to look after someone in their family with an illness, disability, drug/alcohol addiction or mental health problem.

London to Paris has been done, London to Paris and back is something new, a challenge which is worthy of your support. Plus for 2014 we start at MK Dons Stadium before heading to Portsmouth…Each rider will cover on average 120 miles per day and climb over 4000 meters over 5 Days! We show you the nicest & most memorable route from MK to Paris and back to MK all backed by our support crew, mechanic, feed stations, pro photographer, secure and comfortable hotels and most importantly a trip to remember!Adding sparkle to lives of all Carers in the UK especially Young Carers is the real challenge and we hope this event will not only raise awareness of their daily challenges but also some much needed support and funding.
